Etiquette Beyond the Table
More Than Manners. These Are Life Skills.
At Total Capacity Training and Development Center, we believe etiquette goes far beyond knowing which fork to use. Etiquette Beyond the Table is an engaging, interactive workshop designed to give young people the confidence and practical skills they need to successfully navigate everyday life.
Through hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, group discussions, role-playing and demonstrations, students explore our Four Pillars of Etiquette:
🤝 Person-to-Person Etiquette
Students practice proper greetings, introductions, conversation skills, entering a room with confidence, respectful communication, social awareness and building positive relationships.
👔 Image & Presentation
Students learn how to dress appropriately for different occasions, the importance of grooming and hygiene, first impressions, and how to present themselves with confidence—while still expressing their individuality.
📱 Internet Etiquette
From social media and group chats to digital footprints and online communication, students learn to pause before they post and understand how their online choices can affect real-life opportunities and relationships.
🍽️ Dining Etiquette
Students gain confidence at the table while learning place settings, proper table manners, utensil use, ordering from a menu, dining conversation, respect for service professionals and appropriate behavior in social and professional dining environments.
The Grand Finale: Dining With Dignity
The workshop concludes with our signature Dining With Dignity Experience, where students have the opportunity to dress for the occasion and put everything they've learned into practice during a special dining experience.
They won't simply hear about etiquette—they'll practice it, experience it and have fun while learning it!
